Service SteeringAdjusting the Steering (Model GX325)The amount of steering response and effort on GX325 models can be adjusted to the operator's preference. 1. Park machine safely. (See Parking Safely in the SAFETY section.) 2. Locate steering linkage (A) under left side footrest. 4. Remove capscrew and washer (C). 5. Move rod (D) to desired hole: · Top Hole (E) - Steering will require less effort but response will be slower as it will take more rotations of the steering wheel to turn the machine. Use this hole position when heavy loads are applied to front of machine such as a snowthrower. · Lower Hole (F) - Steering will require more effort but response will be faster as it will take fewer rotations of the steering wheel to turn the machine. Use this hole position when using light duty attachments such as a mower. |
